The dash or space between the letters and the numbers can be omitted.

Non-Quebec registration
For vehicles registered in other Canadian provinces, the United States or elsewhere, enter the registration-plate number following the same specifications as those for a plate registered in Quebec.

No reply?

If the system does not display a reply following your request, it is probably because the information has not yet been sent to the computer system by city employees. The information is transmitted to them by the towing company. Usually, it takes one hour before city employees receive the data.

However, ensure that your vehicle was actually within the area covered by the Info-Remorquage application, i.e. within the boundaries of Montréal before the municipal merger.
